As a support network, Second Light has circa 300 members, at varying stages in their poetic development, from those who are new to writing and have no publishing record as yet, to those who are fully established and have published several collections.

Each member is entitled to a page on the SecondLightLive site, saying a little about themselves, showing a poem they would like to represent the nature and calibre of their work, and including a short list of their publications and any contact details they wish to be made public. Most would be delighted to be asked to read at events. Many run workshops and creative writing courses.

There is no editorial restriction on the content of these pages, nor as to whether the poem has been previously published. The poems (excluding those of Committee Members) are eligible for selection as the on-line Poem of the Month.
