Mary MacRae, who died in 2009, was a fine poet and a great supporter of Second Light. Her poem ‘Jury’, was shortlisted for the Forward Prize. Both of Mary’s collections, ‘As Birds Do’ and ‘Inside the Brightness of Red’ are published by Second Light Publications. Her poem card,‘Gannet’, was produced for her by poetry p f, of which she was also a member.
