Pearl Elizabeth Dell

Pearl is a Haiku Poet, currently teaching children to write Haiku at a Nature Reserve/study centre on Saturday mornings. In 2007 she went to Japan where she saw her work in the Museum of World Peace and her book of Haiku Poems, proceeds of which go to a Children’s Hospital, in the Museum of Haiku Literature.

About Face

Face it,
about my face
then etched lightly on
my skin        see        the lines
that define my age, features that
have contours; show each stage.
Life and time        have wrinkled
where love and laughter have
dimpled the          folds into
expressions that leave
impressions
of me.
